Brandy joined DaVinci Education following her leadership role as the Director of Curricular Affairs, Instructional Design and Academic Technologies at Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences. At OSU, Brandy led the implementation of Leo across the College of Osteopathic Medicine, capped by an extremely successful COCA accreditation visit.
Brandy’s responsibilities at OSU spanned the entire institution, from UME to GME, research to accreditation, athletic training to biomedical graduate programs, assessment to professional development, curricular affairs to academic technologies, and more. She brings all this experience to bear on behalf of each of our client partners to help them enhance curriculum management strategies, improve program efficiencies and manage ongoing accreditation demands.
“Joining this team is an amazing step forward in my career,” says Brandy. “With DaVinci Education, I have the privilege of pursuing my passion for education and technology in a way that provides a 21st century experience built on excellence. For me, it is about helping schools use the distinctive Leo platform to excel in educating future healthcare providers. That is our goal, and there is no team more dedicated or committed than this one.”
Prior to her career in medical education, Brandy was a curriculum developer for NASA Education Projects where she was responsible for the design and development of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics) curriculum for high school educators across all 10 NASA centers. Brandy spent the first 13 years of her career as an educator at the secondary level.
Brandy is based in Stillwater, OK, where she lives with her son Max and their rescued pug. She spends much of her free time going to Max’s baseball or basketball games, and they both love traveling across the U.S. in their quest to visit every major league baseball stadium in the country!
