Mary has twenty years of experience training educators on the effective use of technology. That makes her a great fit for DaVinci Education, where she develops the user manual and other documentation designed to guide program administrators, faculty, students and staff through the extensive features and capabilities of our software system.
Mary knows that her job isn’t merely explaining every feature of Leo. “It’s not just about the task at hand,” Mary says, “but also about giving it context, showing how everything fits and flows together, so that our users can take better advantage of our system as a whole.” Mary is always focused on making our documentation more readable and user-friendly so that the benefits of Leo are easily accessible to all our client partners.
Mary could see the power of technology in education just as it was emerging and earned her Ed.S. degree in the field the first year it was offered at New Mexico State University. She also has a Master’s in curriculum instruction from NMSU. Mary has served as clinical faculty at both NMSU and Texas Wesleyan University, and she is President of her local chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma, an international educational service organization, which mentors early-career teachers and provides scholarships for women who have chosen education as their career.
Outside of work, Mary can often be found tending the vegetables in her garden or developing her art in photography. Mary lives with her husband in Texas.
