As a DaVinci client, it became overwhelmingly clear to Dan that he had partnered with a company that shared his drive for continuous curricular improvement, along with a genuine caring for students. It is this shared passion that drew him to join the DaVinci Education team. In his role, Dan gets to share the exciting and inspiring stories of how leading health sciences institutions use Leo to achieve their goals.
“I loved my time at Oklahoma State, but I was only affecting one school in my role there,” says Dan. “With DaVinci, I’m able to interact with and positively influence many more students, faculty and staff at multiple colleges and universities. It’s professionally and personally rewarding to help these programs benefit from Leo the same way my team did.”
A graduate of the University of Dayton, Dan holds a Bachelors of Adolescent to Young Adult Education and a Masters in Technology Enhanced Learning. After teaching social studies at Bedford High School in Bedford, OH, Dan continued to develop as an educator and marketer throughout his experiences at Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences and Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine. As an instructional designer (one of many hats) at these programs, Dan trained faculty in all things related to teaching while also creating content as a thought leader in his industry.
A proud Clevelander, Dan, his wife Valerie, and cats Dexter & Fitz are excited to make a new home in Durham, NC. When not at work, Dan is most likely watching a Cleveland sporting event or spending his time outdoors playing just about any sport or hiking with Valerie.
