DaVinci Week 2021

We're so excited you'll be joining us for DaVinci Week! Our whole team is looking forward to connecting with you during presentations, panels, and Leo Lab sessions.

And don't forget about the Leo Lounge! We are really excited about "hanging out" with all of our client partners in a virtual environment!


Logging in to DaVinci Week

We are using Leo to host the DaVinci Week experience! Expect to recieve your login credentials via email during the week of May 31 - June 4. If you haven't received your login information by the end of the day on June 4 and you registered before June 2, please contact us. For those who registered after June 1, we'll try to provide your login information as soon as possible so that you can access Leo and all of the events taking place during DaVinci Week!

To log in, go to learn.davinci-ed.com and use the credentials you received via email. Use your email address and the password provided via email to log in the first  time. After your initial login, you'll be prompted to change your password. Your new password will need to be at least 8 characters and include both numbers and letters. If you ever encounter problems accessing DaVinci Learn, Leo will prompt you with a "forgotten password" link. This will allow you to reset your password if needed. If you continue to have problems, feel free to reach out to our support team.

Leo Lab: Rich Course Content

Want to jazz up your teaching and delivery of content? Come to the Leo Lab session in the afternoon, where Austin and Melissa will walk you through how to use Leo’s rich content tools and LTI to enhance your teaching.

  • Learn more about the editor in Leo and how you can customize course and event descriptions as well as the Course Info Screen.
  • Learn how you can embed content from other websites in Leo and use the Course Info Screen to engage students.
  • Demonstrate use of LTI content in Leo to engage, assess, and communicate with students.

Thinking about implementing On-Demand Evaluations at your institution? Join us in the Leo Lab on Wednesday afternoon as we walk through how to set-up On-Demand Evaluations in Leo. As a participant you will:

  • Learn how to set up On-Demand Evaluations at your institution.
  • Gain insight into different ways to utilize On-Demand Evals, including as a workplace-based assessment in clinical environments.

Tracking Student Progress

Thus | 6/10 | 12 pm ET

As the traditional markers of student performance continue to shift, new methods of tracking student progress and success are needed. This session will focus on how Themes can provide insight into student progress across a variety of formats, as well as how Leo’s Gradebook and Academic Portrait can be utilized to share data with students and their advisors. Participants will:

  • Gain knowledge on how to utilize features of the Leo Gradebook such as categories, grade matrices and more to track student performance in certain areas.
  • Explore how to use Themes to connect data across assessments such as evaluations and exams to highlight student progress in certain content areas.
  • Learn more about data visualization of student performance, in order to provide targeted support to promote success.

Leo Lab: Academic Portrait

Looking for a way to track student progress that offers flexibility, security and various types of information on student performance? Join the Leo Lab session as we highlight the Academic Portrait. During this lab session, you will learn how to:

  • Activate the Academic Portrait at your institution.
  • Utilize the Academic Portrait to provide mentors and advisors important information necessary to support student success.
  • Track student progress from the Portrait for everything from grades, evaluations, noteworthy characteristics, meetings with other advisors and much more.
