Monday, June 7th

Leo Looks Ahead (12 pm ET)

The past 10 years has brought about a lot of change, further accelerated by the pandemic, but our commitment to partnership has remained unwavering. We hope that you will join this kick-off session to:

  • Gain insight into changes to Leo’s functionality over the past year and a half.
  • Get a sneak peek into new features that are about to be released.
  • Learn more about data visualization plans for Leo.


DEI at DaVinci

Last summer, DaVinci Education put out a statement on our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, noting that action must follow for meaningful and sustainable change to happen. Join us for this session to:

  • Learn more about DaVinci’s DEI work internally and within the product.
  • Identify Leo’s features that support DEI.
  • Engage in a discussion about your institution’s DEI data needs (for internal and accreditation purposes).

Tuesday, June 8th

Teaching with Leo (12 pm ET)

Join DaVinci’s Dan Thompson and Austin Rutledge as they explore the variety of ways that Leo can be utilized to support teaching and learning at your institution. The presentation will cover: 

  • Using Leo to formatively assess your students
  • Providing student feedback in Leo
  • Providing opportunities for reflection with Leo
  • Communicating with others in Leo
  • Tracking student progress with Leo


Leo Lab: Rich Course Content

Want to jazz up your teaching and delivery of content? Come to the Leo Lab session in the afternoon, where Austin will walk you through how to use Leo’s rich content tools and LTI to enhance your teaching.

  1. Learn more about the editor in Leo and how you can customize course and event descriptions as well as the Course Info Screen.
  2. Learn how you can embed content from other websites in Leo and use the Course Info Screen to engage students.
  3. Demonstrate use of LTI content in Leo to engage, assess, and communicate with students.

Wednesday, June 9th

Assessment Panel (12 pm ET)

Leo Lab: On Demand Evaluations (2 pm ET)

Thinking about implementing On-Demand Evaluations at your institution? Join us in the Leo Lab on Wednesday afternoon as we walk through how to set-up On-Demand Evaluations in Leo. As a participant you will:

  • Learn how to set up On-Demand Evaluations at your institution.
  • Gain insight into different ways to utilize On-Demand Evals, including as a workplace-based assessment in clinical environments.
  • Gather tips on managing the data generated from the On-Demand Evals.

Thursday, June 10th

Tracking Student Progress (12 pm ET)



Leo Lab: Academic Portrait (2 pm ET)

Looking for a way to track student progress that offers flexibility, security and various types of information on student performance? Join the Leo Lab session as we highlight the Academic Portrait. During this lab session, you will learn how to:

  • Activate the Academic Portrait at your institution.
  • Utilize the Academic Portrait to provide mentors and advisors important information necessary to support student success.
  • Track student progress from the Portrait for everything from grades, evaluations, noteworthy characteristics, meetings with other advisors and much more.

Friday, June 11th

Professional Development Panel (12 pm ET)

Continue learning from the DaVinci community by attending our last panel session of DaVinci Week. Learn how other partners utilize Leo to deliver professional development for students, faculty and staff. Our panelists will share best practices and lessons learned from utilizing Leo as part of their institution’s professional development strategy. Join DaVinci team members as they walk you through our various resources for orienting students to Leo. As a participant in this interactive Leo Lab session, you will be able to:

  • Understand important components and settings needed to create professional development and orientation courses in Leo.
  • Distinguish different options for virtual, hybrid and in-person programming.
  • Apply the knowledge acquired to create, manage and maintain a customized approach for orienting Leo users at your institution.
